Genesis

While there are myriad books and courses on building products and the art and science of product management, ultimately everyone will agree that it’s a skill acquired mostly through apprenticeship.

This insight led Deep to build his Product Management course at Stanford as a practitioner led program where students learned the art and science of building products by doing.

While intensely gratifying to the educator, classroom courses have an inherent limitation – they don’t reach everyone who could benefit from them and it is also not practical to bring in other practitioners into the classroom at precisely the moment they could benefit the students the most.

This led to the collaboration between Deep and Tom Eisenmann, his teacher and mentor from HBS to write a series of essays on the key topics related to building world class products and ultimately successful, enduring companies.

Follow us on LinkedIn or sign up with your email to receive our essays when they get published.

In the future, I also hope to share my thoughts and collaborations on other topics of interest to founders and company builders. Let me know your thoughts on what you read here and the topics you wish to be discussed.
